Job Summary

  • The Physician Extender will partner with Orthopaedic Hand physicians to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care, supporting clinic operations, assisting with procedures, helping in the operating room, responding to pages, and rounding on inpatients.
  • This role involves direct patient care, collecting and documenting patient data, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, coordinating labs and consults, and participating in the Orthopaedic after-hours call rotation for urgent and emergent care.

  • Certified as a Physician’s Assistant
  • Physician Assistant certified in the State of Arkansas
  • Masters in Nursing from an accredited School/College of Nursing
  • APRN License
  • Arkansas RN License
  • Current BLS certification
