Job Summary

  • The Director is responsible for strategic and operational leadership including the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, improvement, management and administration of counselling and mental health services at the Vancouver Campus.
  • The Director oversees clinical counselling leadership and counselling staff within SHW (including all master’s and PhD trainees, registered counsellors, embedded counsellors, social workers, and psychologists), and collaborates with other leaders in SHW on strategic planning and implementation of SHW integrated services.
  • The Director enacts a commitment to anti-racism, equity, diversity, inclusion and decolonized practice through continued service level development, innovations and improvement.

Key Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology or related field
  • Eligible for certification as a Registered Psychologist in BC
