The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for the day-to-day activities in the rehabilitation department of an assigned facility or facilities, including direct and indirect services, supervision of therapy personnel, and implementation of new programs.
Essential duties include directly supervising and guiding all therapy personnel, performing daily scheduling, providing direct care, assuring resident rehabilitation needs are met, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech Language Pathology, licensure in the state, and CPR certification.
