Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
The unit specializes in burn care while also housing post-surgical patients from specialties including Plastic Surgery, Urology, Ear Nose and Throat, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Gynecology.
Nurses can undergo additional advanced training to work in the burn procedural room, completing dressing changes and delivering specialized burn treatments one-on-one with patients.
