Job Summary

  • The Patient Care Technician (PCT) serves in a combination role and is competent to perform as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA), Telemetry Technician (TT) and/or a Unit Secretary (US).
  • Provides direct and indirect, age-specific and developmentally appropriate patient care under the direct supervision of the RN as assigned.
  • Contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population.
