Job Summary
The Repairs Technician will be responsible for the mechanical disassembly, inspection, and assembly of Wind Gearboxes, reporting to the Shop Operations Leader.
Key responsibilities include exchanging bearings and gears, performing standard mechanical assembly, rework, and repair of gearbox components to drawing specifications, both downtower and uptower.
The role requires knowledge of various tools including lifting equipment, torque tools, hydraulic pullers, drills, grinders, and measurement tools, along with the ability to read engineering drawings and follow EH&S guidelines.
