Job Summary
This job functions independently, supervises department staff and collaborates with the department director in the identification, trending and analysis of clinical quality issues and in a collaborative fashion facilitates resolution of these issues.
This job plays a key role in accreditation and survey processes within the organization; and supports medical staff committees as assigned.
Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
