The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and operate YETI's enterprise data platform with a strong emphasis on Azure Databricks and Google BigQuery.
This role requires translating business challenges into logical and physical data models while developing scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Spark, Airflow, and Dataflow.
Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in data engineering with expert skills in writing and tuning complex SQL queries within the Google Cloud Platform.

Expert in Google BigQuery SQL tuning
Hands-on GCP Airflow Dataflow Databricks
Dimensional Modeling and ER-Modeling knowledge
Python programming for data solutions
SAP HANA and S/4HANA integration
Nice-to-have
Experience with SAP Datasphere
Knowledge of Java and NodeJS
Familiarity with Terraform Docker CI/CD
Openness to adopting unfamiliar tools
Vertex AI engineering pipeline optimization
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
At least 8 years of experience in data engineering
Expert in writing, analyzing and tuning complex SQL queries
Extensive experience with Python programming
Hands-on experience in GCP BigQuery, Google Airflow, Dataflow and Databricks
Good understanding of Dimensional Modeling and ER-Modeling
Experience in extracting data from SAP HANA and Salesforce tools
