Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.
Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting oral and/or topical medications, verifying resident identity, and reporting any errors or reactions promptly.
The role requires participation in quality assurance programs and continuing education to stay abreast of changes in the profession and maintain certification.
