Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty while ensuring adherence to all current federal, state, and local regulations.
  • You will participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures, as well as assisting in the implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
  • The role requires ensuring that a sufficient number of licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants are available for each shift to maintain the highest degree of quality care for residents.

Key Requirements

  • Current unencumbered active RN license in this state
  • Minimum Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2 years or more experience preferably in long-term care
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred
