Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 10 years progressive experience in materials and welding
  • Direct manufacturing experience with ASME Section III components
  • Strong working knowledge of CSA N285 series codes
  • Experience interpreting NDE results and inspection reports
  • Solid understanding of degradation mechanisms like fatigue and corrosion

Nice-to-have

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario preferred
  • Experience in regulated or safety-critical nuclear industries
  • Ability to provide day-to-day technical guidance to staff
  • Familiarity with metallurgical laboratory techniques for microstructure examination

Key Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Materials, Metallurgical, or Welding Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and fabrication
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of ASME BPV Code Sections II, III, V, and IX
