The primary function of this role is to ensure effective and efficient care is provided as prescribed by the physician and required by facility policies.
The nurse must accurately observe and assess wounds and pressure sores while promptly notifying physicians of any lack of progress or signs of infection.
This position requires participation in facility surveys and inspections made by authorized government agencies to maintain compliance standards.
