The role involves maintaining a safe, orderly, clean, and sanitary kitchen, preparing tasteful meals, supervising staff in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor, and reporting resident care concerns.

Prepare special diets accurately
Supervise dietary staff in absence of supervisor
Record food temperatures
Work cooperatively with other departments

Ability to make food presentation appealing
Experience with PCC software

Key Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year cooking experience in hospital or long term care
Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certificate
Must remain in good standing with Department of Public Health
