Hitachi Energy is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist for its facility in Xiamen, China, to lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes within the organization. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of relevant experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing, alongside strong leadership and communication skills

Job Summary

  • You will ensure the implementation of applicable policies and requirements issued by the BU and Hub Continuous Improvement Managers, lead lighthouse deployment, including KPI and metrics governance, daily management, Problem solving, S&OP, project management, value-stream mapping (VSM), leadership standard work (LSW), strategy deployment (SD), 5S and visual management, manufacturing excellence, and inventory and supply-in management.
  • You will lead and facilitate communication, education, and training activities; coach continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., L6S and Lean practitioner certification, operations skills matrix, CI project selection and recognition, Lean and CI best-practice sharing, Kaizen workshops, Lighthouse assessments and audits, and internal and external benchmarking, etc.).
