DSI Underground is seeking a Mechanical Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery, both on-site and in-house. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, along with excellent customer service skills
Job Summary
Maintain equipment and machinery in appropriate condition at the client's site or company facilities, operating machinery and explaining its hydraulic and electrical functionality.
Develop work procedure routines according to safety standards (SOPs), identify components, explain their basic operation, and perform root cause analysis for problems.
Provide preventive and cost-efficient repairs, attend complex emergencies and unforeseen equipment failures, and conduct maintenance and repair of major mechanical and electrical components.
