WBOY is seeking a Chief Engineer to manage operations within their Engineering and Production departments, ensuring compliance with broadcasting regulations while maintaining station technology. Job Summary

  • The Chief Engineer manages the operations of the Engineering and Production departments and is responsible for the maintenance of all broadcast technology, IT equipment, and vehicles at the station’s locations including compliance with rules and regulations applicable to FCC, local, state, and federal laws.
  • Oversees the distribution of statewide and regional West Virginia University sports content to other Nexstar stations along with AT&T SportsNet in Pittsburgh.

Key Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, Communications, or equivalent experience

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
