Job Summary

  • The Associate Director, Commercial Systems reports to the Senior Director, Global Commercial Technology and is accountable for the strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of BD’s global portfolio of commercial sales technologies outside of core CRM and Revenue platforms.
  • This role brings intentional ownership and rigor to a highly complex and fragmented commercial technology landscape spanning Regions, Business Units, and functional needs.
  • The Associate Director is responsible for determining which capabilities should be standardized globally, which should remain regional or Business Unit specific, and which should be deprecated or consolidated to reduce redundancy, cost, and complexity.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, commercial technology, product management, digital transformation, or related roles
  • 4+ years of experience managing individual contributors and/or leading teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience evaluating and piloting emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions
  • Proven experience defining and completing a deprecation strategy for technology, tools, and/or portfolio at enterprise scale
