The Patient Access Department supports clinical departments by ensuring complete registrations through verifying demographic information, insurance coverage, scanning documents, and obtaining authorizations.
Patient Access Representatives provide patient-focused customer service, perform registration and insurance verification, collect patient financial liability, and ensure patients meet financial requirements.
This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of one year of customer service experience, and involves working evening shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
