Key Requirements
undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in Microbiology, Molecular Microbiology or Bioinformatics
relevant experience in microbial genomics
demonstrated expertise in Illumina and Oxford Nanopore sequencing techniques
hands on competency in wet lab techniques
foundational knowledge of bioinformatic analysis
proven experience applying a broad range of research techniques
ability to train and support junior staff and students
