Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor degree in Child Life or related field
Certified in Child Life by ACLP or eligible
Completion of 600-hour internship program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Developmentally appropriate play assessment skills
Nice-to-have
Fluent in Spanish language preferred
Less than three years experience as specialist
Experience supervising child life volunteers
Commitment to compassionate personalized care
Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Child Life, Child Development, Family Studies
ACLP Certification or eligibility to sit for exam
BLS/CPR Certification from American Heart Association
600-hour internship completion
Less than 3 years experience as Child Life Specialist
