Job Summary

  • The Regional Director of Nursing Operations is responsible for the overall support of the nursing department in the assigned region and for assisting in the maintenance of desired patient outcomes and staff retention.
  • Assists hospitals in reviewing, creating, and revising policies and procedures for patient care consistent with hospital, Joint Commission, CMS, and other federal, state, and local standards and expectations for nursing operations.
  • Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff, assesses risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions.
