Job Summary
The Scheduling Coordinator functions as an integral part of the OSUWMC commitment to improve access and service to our patients/customers by emanating a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm and respect.
They will be responsible for answering the telephone calls and directing/assisting the callers/patients as appropriate, scheduling new patient appointments, and maintaining full clinics through wait list management.
The specialist must have a strong working knowledge of different health insurance plans to ensure reimbursement of services provided while performing clerical duties like timekeeping editing and document scanning.
