Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 2 years structured training or skilled machinist experience
  • Operating VTL, VBM, Lathe, Bridgeport, Mills, Drills, Grinders
  • Reading blueprints, written procedures, and repair manuals
  • Using precision measuring instruments and shop math
  • Performing bench, inspect, steam/clean, grit blast duties

Nice-to-have

  • CNC or N.C. or Robotic equipment experience
  • Monitoring multiple machines simultaneously
  • 1+ years aerospace machining experience
  • Experience with CMM equipment for inspection
  • Ability to train and instruct others

Key Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required
  • Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, LPR, Asylee, or Refugee)
  • Pass machinist written and functional test
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills
