Job Summary

• The Post Heart Transplant Nurse Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of ambulatory and in-hospital care of pre- and post-transplant patients, working closely with the transplant team.
• Additional responsibilities include collecting and entering data into EPIC and heart transplant databases as required by hospital and regulatory agencies.
• This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with the transplant team, patients, and families.

• Graduate of approved school of nursing
• Current Massachusetts RN registration
• Five years plus cardiac surgery or thoracic surgery experience
• BSN required for newly licensed nurses
