  • The incumbent will lead critical safety activities including Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Combustible Dust Assessments to mitigate site risks.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
  • 7+ years process safety experience
  • OSHA PSM and EPA RMP knowledge
  • Leading PHA, LOPA, and DHA assessments
  • Incident investigation and corrective action closure

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with combustible dust hazards
  • Proficiency with PHA Pro or Sphera ARA software
  • Consequence modeling skills using PHAST or Aspen
  • Pressure relief design analysis (DIERS) expertise
  • Strong influence without authority capabilities

Key Requirements

  • BS degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years industrial process safety experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA PSM and EPA RMP regulations
  • Subject matter expertise in risk-based PSMS implementation
  • Demonstrated experience leading MOCs and PSI development
