The North Carolina Zoo is seeking two Exhibit Design Technicians to join their team, focusing on the conceptualization, fabrication, and maintenance of educational and animal exhibits. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in design or a related field, along with experience in exhibit design and fabrication techniques

Job Summary

  • These positions work with the Exhibit Design department to conceptualize, fabricate, maintain and design world-class animal and educational exhibit opportunities throughout the Zoo.
  • Responsibilities include designing, fabricating, building, and maintaining Zoo educational interpretive exhibits, and themed playgrounds.

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical work in challenging environments
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform tasks from elevated levels
