Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Postpartum experience or consolidation training within last 3 years
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification
  • Breastfeeding course completion or commitment
  • Shift work availability including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to train in alternate clinical areas

Nice-to-have

  • Scrub Nurse experience
  • Fetal Health Surveillance experience
  • Ability to speak another language
  • Membership in RPNAO
  • Certification in blood collection and IVs

Key Requirements

  • RPN diploma from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certificate
  • Evidence of continuing education and professional development
