Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Administer medications, transcribe physician's orders, and chart nurses' notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
Participate in staff development, safety and sanitation initiatives, and equipment and supply management to ensure quality resident care.
