This role is responsible for driving high-performance within the Construction profit center and delivering on underwriting strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will act as a Lead Specialist Underwriter, managing new business in line with Energy & Construction governance frameworks.

Must-have
15 years Construction underwriting experience
Deep expertise in Energy and Accident Risks (EAR)
Experience with large complex international risks
Knowledge of NA CAR P&L management
Ability to manage direct reports and team performance
Nice-to-have
Degree in Construction, Engineering, Economics, or Law
Strong data analytics and leverage capabilities
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
Experience with global product strategy development
Key Requirements
At least 15 years of profitable Construction & Engineering underwriting experience
Expert technical underwriting background in EAR segment
Broad exposure to large corporate international insurance markets
Leadership capability to manage team performance and referrals
