The Nursing Staff Development Coordinator works assigned shifts with potential to include weekends, providing direct patient care and conducting unit-based educational programs.
This position will provide on-boarding support for newly hired licensed and unlicensed staff, documentation review, mentorship, coaching, follow up, and other unit needs.
The Nursing Staff Development Coordinator serves as consultant/resource specialist for pathology and emergency nursing care, assisting with education and learning activities designed to assist nursing personnel to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet job requirements.
