Job Summary

• Individual is responsible for histocompatibility laboratory compliance with regulatory and accreditation agency standards, quality assurance, development of laboratory processes, clinical protocols and budget preparation and monitoring.
• This individual is responsible for the overall management of the histocompatibility laboratory, the quality of operations and services provided by the histocompatibility laboratory, including the responsibility for reviewing and overseeing all technical aspects of the laboratory.
• The Director also represents The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at local, regional and national levels as a liaison between the medical center and the various laboratory and transplant related organizations, agencies and professional organizations.
