Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.
Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications, noting and reporting errors, and maintaining resident confidentiality.
The role requires participation in quality assurance programs and continuing education to maintain certification and stay abreast of changes in the profession.
