Job Summary

  • This position is for the major capital improvement projects included in the B&P Tunnel Replacement Program – new Frederick Douglass Tunnel (FDT), that will modernize and transform a ten-mile section of the Northeast Corridor.
  • The Senior Project Controls Manager is responsible for developing, using, and improving existing enterprise tools, systems, and work processes to drive effective management control and reporting on cost, schedule, risk, estimating, and progress measurement for Amtrak’s B&P Tunnel package.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field
  • Minimum of nine (9) years of related experience
  • Heavy civil estimating experience
  • Skilled in common software tools used in project cost estimating
  • Experience with CMAR and/or Progressive Design Build contracting types
  • Strong project management skills
