Must-have
15+ years software engineering experience
3+ years leadership in reliability roles
AWS cloud platform expertise required
Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation
CI/CD pipeline development and integration
Incident management and major incident response
SLOs SLIs and error budget implementation
Nice-to-have
Azure or Google Cloud Platform knowledge
ITIL process familiarity
Financial markets domain knowledge
Experience leading distributed global teams
FinOps for cloud cost optimization
Big Panda and Data Dog observability tools
DevOps certification credentials
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
Minimum 15 years total experience in software engineering or reliability
At least 3 years of prior leadership experience managing teams
Hands-on expertise with Linux/Windows systems and cloud security
Ability to work across UK, US, and APAC time zones
