The primary purpose of this job is to maintain resident medical records and health information systems in accordance with current federal and state guidelines and facility privacy policies.
Essential duties include receiving work schedules, assisting in organizing the medical records department, maintaining minutes of meetings, and developing good rapport with inter-department personnel.
The role involves retrieving and filing resident records, abstracting information for authorized entities, and ensuring records are properly completed and secured.
