Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will be a Member of the Towed System Intermediate Maintenance Activity (TS IMA) team in San Diego, CA, providing direct fleet support with towed acoustic systems.
  • Candidate will be responsible for conducting towed array module physical inspection, electrical testing, troubleshooting, array assembly and shipboard installation and removal of towed bodies.
  • Selected applicant will receive on the job training and is expected to qualify as a Towed Systems IMA technician.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited technical institute or military electronics course
  • At least two years' experience in test and repair

  • Obtain interim Secret clearance prior to employment
  • Lift 40lbs without assistance
  • Complete background check and physical for truck operation

Work Rights

Must be able to obtain and retain a Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret level and a US Passport.
