Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • DPSST certification for unarmed security
  • First Aid CPR and AED certification
  • Valid driver license with clean record
  • Two years experience in campus safety or dispatch
  • Ability to pass Physical Abilities Test

Nice-to-have

  • Associate degree in criminal justice
  • Experience with Lenel Security software
  • Knowledge of Clery Act and FERPA regulations
  • High standards of professionalism and empathy
  • Experience in higher education emergency response
