The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
This role involves administrative duties, medication management, personnel supervision, nursing care functions, staff development, safety and sanitation oversight, and equipment and supply management to maintain a high standard of care.
The position requires active participation in quality assurance programs, facility surveys, and continuing education to maintain professional standards and improve nursing services.
