Job Summary

  • The CF34 Repair team has ownership across the -3/-8/-10 engine lines covering all Turbomachinery Modules.
  • A Repair Engineer 2 leads repair development projects and performs identified duties related to assigned hardware components, processes, or systems in a multi-functional team environment.
  • The Repair Engineer owns all aspects related to the repair of their assigned hardware including repair development, departure records/inquiries and MRO shop support in accordance with Repair Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience as Lead Mechanical Engineer
  • Knowledge in Stress, Solid mechanics, GD&T, Basic stack ups, Fracture mechanics, Bolted Joint, Material Properties, Manufacturing processes
  • Strong and effective oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Ability to document, plan and execute programs
  • Demonstrated ability in managing projects across functions
  • Basic Knowledge and awareness of regulatory agencies process
