Key Requirements

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario required
  • 2 years or more relevant experience in long-term care preferred
  • Working knowledge of MLTC Regulations, Fixing the LTC Act and Resident Bill of Rights
  • Familiarity with homes Specialized Programs
  • Knowledge and experience in RAI/MDS, Point Click Care, MEDelink
  • Successful completion of AIS training and ability to maintain annually
