Under the direction of a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Technician 1 assists to prepare, dispense and deliver all medications to patient care units, physician offices and clinics.
Responsibilities include filling, updating, and delivering patient medications, labeling premixed IV solutions, and managing floor stock.
The role involves triaging phone calls, packaging and labeling medications, maintaining records, and responding to inquiries at the pharmacy window.
