Job Summary

  • Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the Automation engineering activities involving the install, design, program, maintenance, and repair of Automation systems.
  • This position maintains and repairs all Automation, Manufacturing, Packaging/Inspection, and Utility systems/equipment with a focus on the maintenance and repair of the control system and associated equipment to ensure operation in compliance with cGMP requirements and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and OSHA standards.

Must-have

  • Industrial PLC, Controls, electrical or automation maintenance
  • Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers, HMIs
  • Automation system software installation, troubleshooting
  • Electrical and communication wiring maintenance
  • Good Documentation Practices per compliance requirements
  • Work aseptically in manufacturing areas

Nice-to-have

  • Subject matter expert with specialized knowledge
  • Adapt standard methods and procedures
  • Train others and reinforce behaviors
  • Support for Capital projects
  • Assist other trades when necessary

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience
  • High school diploma and/or GED
  • Licensed electrician from the State of Michigan
  • OEM trained and certified in industrial automation systems
  • GMP Maintenance experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • NOT allergic to Penicillin
