Job Summary

• The Islamic Banking Regional Specialist is responsible for growing Absa’s Islamic Banking customer base in the region against targets while ensuring full adherence to Shari’ah governance and regulatory requirements.
• The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external community, industry, and institutional partners to embed Islamic Banking within mainstream client coverage and strengthen Absa’s presence.
• The incumbent will support disciplined growth, manage risks including Shari’ah compliance, and achieve financial and non-financial targets including customer growth, asset growth, and revenue.
