Job Summary

• The Deputy Operations Manager provides strategic, administrative, and operational support to ensure the efficient, safe, and profitable running of all Intrepid groups, individual travelers, and external clients in Ecuador.
• This position plays a critical leadership role in managing and optimizing day-to-day operations, including hiring, training, and overseeing all leaders, local guides, Galapagos guides, and Customer Service staff.
• The DOM reports to the Operations Manager on the implementation of all Intrepid safety standards, Responsible Travel policies, and feedback targets.

• Specific Destination knowledge of Galapagos operations

• Experience in administrative tasks
• Using Microsoft Word and Excel
