Job Summary
This job scrubs and assists surgeon on surgical procedures involving all age groups, working under the direction of the professional registered nurse.
Demonstrates competent technical skills and performs scrub functions related to the intra-operative phase, understanding and anticipating surgeon preference and patient care variables.
Follows policy for medication and specimen handling, performs sponge, needle and instrument count, and contributes to division, hospital, and department goals.

Key Requirements
Minimum One year certificate
Three to six months related experience
3-5 years’ specialty experience
Accredited Surgical Technologist program completion
