Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Sound knowledge of CT Scan equipment
  • Perform CT exams as per protocol
  • Identify patients using two identifiers
  • Apply ALARA principle for radiation safety
  • Start IVs independently and administer contrast
  • Input data into RIS and PACS systems

Nice-to-have

  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated
  • Understanding of cross sectional anatomy
  • 3D post processing skills
  • Experience with power injector operation
  • CPR certification maintained

Key Requirements

  • Associates Degree required
  • ARRT Radiography certification required
  • Radiology Technician-CT certification required
  • Basic Life Support certification required
  • 1 year in CT acute care setting preferred
