Job Summary
Performs shipboard welding services for the repair and maintenance of piping systems, machinery, and structural systems on Military Sealift Command vessels.
Responsible for joining metal parts using various welding equipment and processes, cutting and burning metals, and welding in all positions with different types of metals and alloys.
Personnel are required to work an additional two (2) hours every regular working day as an expected requirement.
