Job Summary

• The National HSE Manager will provide professional support to the projects/engineering side of the business with a good understanding of CDM2015, inspections, and collating comprehensive reports for the leadership team.
• This role requires driving improvements and best practice in safety, health, and environmental issues, including delivering bespoke training and looking at behavioural safety to influence a change in culture.
• Key responsibilities include carrying out site safety audits, monitoring training completion, providing expertise and support to business unit teams, and collaborating with the National Director of HS&E on sustainability and safety plans.

Key Requirements

• Member of IOSH or equivalent (working to Chartered)
• NEBOSH – General or Construction certification or equivalent
• IEMA qualifications in Environmental management
• Accident/Incident investigation trained (root cause analysis)
• Good knowledge and understanding of key H&S legislation, particularly CDM
• Clean driving license
• Internal Auditing of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
