Key Requirements
Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Must be dependable, organized, and self-motivated
Must be able to efficiently perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and analyze fecal samples
Must be able to perform blood work, position and acquire radiographs, give injectable and oral medications, drug dose calculations, and be well versed in critical care medicine
Must understand fluid therapy and how to administer anesthesia and oxygen therapy
Must possess the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, and move) up to 50 pounds
Able to stay on task and work energetically for the entire shift, sometimes exceeding 12 hours per day
