The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing staff and the Health Services Director.
Essential duties include accurately preparing, administering, and documenting medications, verifying new resident medications, and following procedures for medication destruction and labeling.
The role requires participation in quality assurance programs, reporting medication errors and resident complaints, and maintaining resident confidentiality.
